A farewell disc from the great teen-idol band

"Magneto probably was the best Latin teen idol band in the past 20 years. Like Menudo, it was a collection of young, good-looking guys who sang bubbly pop music. But Magneto's membership was pretty constant and the songs were solid, European-influenced pop. This disc was the group's last before splitting up, and it features some of the band's greatest hits and four new songs. It was a great, if bittersweet, way to say goodbye to one of the most popular bands of its time."

"Their last album together was a toast to their group. This underrated but fabulous Mexican pop boyband captivated America with its playful, innocent, full-roasted masculine sound. While several songs are remakes of other songs in English and French and Portuguese, Magneto's renditions brought a lively, wholesome sound and pop beat to otherwise lifeless songs. They are like A-ha, but have a very flirtatious masculine sound. This is one group that should have stayed together for posterity. The CD features some of their most popular songs in the Spanish-speaking Americas. This CD is a keeper. Although a remake from a French group, Magneto made "Vuela, Vuela" their own. It continues to be its trademark song."

"I loved this CD. There were a couple of the songs that I did not like but I loved the rest. Remember that you can listen to any of the tracks (30 Seconds worth) before you buy. Happy Shopping!!!"
