Maggie Sansone is one of America s leading performers and recording artists on the hammered dulcimer and showcases her Celtic, early music and multi-cultural improvisations that merges styles and music from 12th century to our modern times. The selections are all-instrumentals and represent over twenty years of performances from nine different recordings. Sansone is frequently heard on National Public Radio and known for her pioneering chamber folk sound that combines the energy and spirit of Celtic music with intricate harmonies often found in classical chamber music.
