"On this CD you will find remixes of four of Madonna's earliest big hits. Lucky Star and Borderline stand out the most as they have an ethereal feel to them that the original versions do not have."
Great collection

"now this is classic early Madonna and the mixes are tight. the early main jams by madonna are all featured here. vocally she was on point and the production complimented what she was expressing."
MADONNA'S EARLY BIG HITS

"five stars!!!
this japanese only-remix cd was one of my earliest and most expensive madonna remix cd. i also have all these versions on vinyl.
like a virgin: her first number one track that catapulted her to stardom! the remix by jellybean enhances the song while adding vocals towards the end. the remix simply rocks and stayed true to its original groove.
holiday: while this has been available in the debut album, the extended version is the definitive version. as jellybean said in his liner notes for "you can dance" "it has a groove that needed no improvement.
lucky star: madonna's no. 4 hit extends and transcends the song with vocal echos and intrumental thrown in between. the latter vocals cannot be found on the original album version.
borderline: simply the most sentimental of her early hits. when 12" singles were new, the remix version of borderline, complete with vocal echos and additional lyrics were the craze in remixes. it remained true to to the groove and fans still like this track.
madonna's four greatest early tracks in one cd: all remixed for one's enjoyment. what could one ask for more?
long live the queen of pop!"
