"Here's the tracklisting for the USA Maxi Single of "Music"... 1) HQ2 Club Mix 8:50 2) Calderone Anthem Mix 11:55 3) Deep Dish Dot Com Remix 11:21 4) Groove Armada Club Mix 9:29 5) The Young Collective Club Mix 13:16 6) HQ2 Radio Mix 4:04 7) Calderone Radio Edit 4:25 8) Deep Dish Dot Com Radio Edit 4:15 9) Groove Armada 12 Mix 5:30 Madonna reclaims her stand as supreme diva with her newest single "Music." The maxi single is choc full of remixes galore that will appeal to all lovers of dance music. (a nearly complete collection of remixes save for a few dubs that were left off). The Calderone remix is glorious and proves that he is the right man for the job of remixing Madonna. The radio edits are a nice surprise as well. It's surprising that the original version was left off, but that alone will justify the purchase of the regular single. Music is amazing...buy it!"
Perfect!

"I must admit that I downloaded the single on the Internet as well as many remixes, but I'm still glad that I bought this CD. It contains 9 tracks, many of them unreleased (yet) on the net. Curiously enough, the original album version isn't included. The video might not be the greatest thing, but the single is near perfect and ALL the remixes are excellent. The remixes on this CD are, 1)HQ@ Club Mix 2)Calderone anthem mix 3)Deep dish dot com remix 4)Groove armada club mix 5)The young collective club mix 6)HQ2 Radio mix 7)Calderone radio mix 8)Deep dish dot com radio edit 9)Groove armada 12 mix. Enjoy!"

"The US Maxi single of Madonna's new song "Music" is housed in an eco-pak (i.e cardboard packaging with a plastic strip at side for opening and closing) and contains a whopping 9 remixes! 1) HQ2 Club Mix 8:50 2) Calderone Anthem Mix 11:55 3) Deep Dish Dot Com Remix 11:21 4) Groove Armada Club Mix 9:29 5) The Young Collective Club Mix 13:16 6) HQ2 Radio Mix 4:04 7) Calderone Radio Edit 4:25 8) Deep Dish Dot Com Radio Edit 4:15 9) Groove Armada 12" Mix 5:30 Personally speaking, this song doesn't sound like anything Madonna has done before, vastly different to the tone set in Ray of Light. I find the song quite hard to digest when I first saw the video premiere on TV, but I'm happy to say that the song grows on you with repeated listening. This particular single would've been a more complete package had the album version been included, or even an edit version. But overall, I am very happy with the remixes featured in this maxi. You must definitely check out track 5, The Young Collective Club Mix, and the remixes done by Groove Armada and Deep Dish. Of all the mixes, I personally find that these 3 deserve notable mentions. Track 5 adds a certain sense of vulnerability to the song with the type of instruments used, and you can actually feel the tension rises as the mix reaches a climax towards the end. The Groove Armada version sounds especially touching with the violins, but I feel that the 12" version atually sounds better then the longer club version. The Hex Hector mixes are only so-so, as does the Calderone versions. I know some people is going to hate me for saying this, but I have always felt that after ROL, Calderone has not really done Madonna justice with his remixes, especially the American Pie remixes. But I'm happy to say that his remix of Music is marginally better than those of AP. Of them all, I still prefer Young Collective, Groove Armada and Deep Dish. You must also check out the 4 track CD version from Germany as it contains an even shorter version of the Groove Armada remix, clocking at 3 min plus, as well as the 2 CD set from Australia, which contains an edit version of the Young Collective remix, and features a CD-Rom segment. Maybe only than can you collect all the official remixes?"
Music: BUY THIS!!!

"I loved the "Music" album. I loved the "Don't Tell Me" and "What It Feels Like For A Girl" singles. And I loved this. The trax on here are AWESOME! The Calderone mix I didn't care for, though. Anyway, here is a review of each track (save the edits):
1 HQ2 Club Mix (8:52): R&B-ish. It's good, but kinda weird at times.
2 Calderone Anthem Mix (11:57): Ugh. This is a somewhat boring mix. Mr Calderone can do better.
3 Deep Dish.com Remix (11:24): Hmm...I can't describe this one (at least not in words). It's LOADS better than the EXTREMELY repetitive DD Dub of Dido's "Thankyou".
4 GA Club Mix (9:31): This is my favorite. It's a lovely little piece of music. The violin/string section interspersed thru-out this mix is GORGEOUS! So is the way they enhanced Madonna's voice w/a vocoder. Also R&B-ish, but more than the HQ2 Club Mix.
5 Young Collective Club Mix (13:16, 13:20 on import singles): Wow! This is long! (my first reaction.) This is probably the second longest Madonna remix ever (The longest is a tie between a 14+ min. extended version of the Calderone Club Mix of "Ray of Light" and a 14:32 promo-only Mike Danavan remix of "Don't Tell Me"). It's nice, but slightly repetitive.
Tracks missing from this maxi:
1. Groove Armada Bonus Beats 4:51
2. GA 7" Mix 3:37
3. The Young Collective Radio Mix 3:45
4. Album Version 3:46
The first, second, and fourth tracks are all available on the Australian enhanced single. The third is only available on the promo.
No edit reviews (as I said before). And now, I end this review by saying:
BUY THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! U WONT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Does anybody know why Madonna's record label misinterprets song times? (i.e. the Groove Armada Club Mix is 9:31, but the track listing says that it is 9:29.) Thanks.

"This CD defines everything that Madonna has stood for the past 2 decades, DANCE MUSIC. From the classical emotional beats of the Groove Armada Mixes to the Heavy Bass pumping remix by Deep Dish, this single definitely is a good one to play in the car! Bleeps and sounds with the word chanting "Music" in the background defy the laws of the sound system and take stereo music to a whole new level. If you want a single that has a name like Madonna, and that surpasses the laws of regular stereo sound, I'd recomend the MUSIC Maxi Single for everyone... although I must advise you to listen to these mixes VERY LOUD! It gives them a whole new meaning!"
