Madness were the most successful and longest-running band to emerge from the British Ska/2-Tone movement in 1979 and, apart from a few years off for good behavior, the band are still going strong with the same exact line-up. The CD features 23 of their greatest singles plus a DVD that contains 22 of their classic (and hilarious) video clips. No brainer (if you can play PAL format)

"If you know Madness, you know the songs here. Hell, you probably already have them on at least a few discs by now.

If you love Madness you have seen most (if not all) of the videos here. Obviously, the videos on DVD are the real selling point to us fans.

There are 2 minor quibbles here:

1) the post-Stiff singles and videos from the 80's aren't here (not that big a loss, but...)

2) the DVD is in PAL format which is okay in 1 of my DVD players, but not the other.

To sum up: it's a real winner!

If you haven't already done so, pick up the new one (The Liberty Of Norton Folgate) it's top notch."
