Holds Up Well as a complete CD

"It's hard to beleive that this was first issued in 1966 as a complete album, as the quality of material would make one think of it as a "Best Of" compilation. This is really great stuff. You could play it all the way through during a sunny drive, to "mellow out" to after a rough day at work, or for a romantic evening for two people who enjoy sweet 60s soul. All killer, no filler, and well worth the bucks."

Doo-wop meets Memphis Soul

"The Mad Lads were unique in that they blended their soulful doo-wop vocals with a fine Memphis studio band to create a lost treasure of late period doo-wop. Their version of "Land Of A Thousand Dances" is perhaps the best version ever, although every song on "In Action" is a winner including four bonus songs not on the original 1966 album. The sound is crisp and above average for a Collectibles release."
