The CD Let's Get Naked includes a bonus DVD Out Of The Basement This acoustic album was conceived in June of 2004. Most of the songs had been written and recorded for previous albums on ?Leaving The Way?, ?Recognition? and ?Fractura.? Mad Francis had always wanted to do an acoustic record. He also thought that he could introduce more people to his unique style if he stripped it down a bit. That summer MF was already working on ?Down In The Basement?, but after realizing he wanted to focus more on the core of the songwriting he switched his focus to ?Let?s Get Naked?. He decided to use some of the songs from Down In The Basement and redo some previously released songs in acoustic form. Ultimately, this combination of tunes would become ?Let?s Get Naked?. Consideration for a music video did not come about until the fall of 2004. Initially it was going to be used as a bonus feature on an enhanced CD. But, during the Spring of 2005 after teaming up with Apocalyptic ! Development, that all changed. As success increased for MF, more resources became available to create a larger project. The DVD ?Out Of The Basement? became that project. It was shot in April of 2005 at The Historic City Auditorium in Colorado Springs inside the Lon Chaney Theatre.
