"Mad Flava has got to be THE most slept on group in the history of the rap game!(Camp Lo is a close second) These cats were the best thing to come out of Dallas, since the D.O.C. (Emmitt Smith included, cheap (...)!)When the album dropped, they had two legitimate smash singles in "Bump ya head", and "To the break of day", but I guess priority didn't use their resources wisely in terms of promotion. My personal favorite has got to be the title track, "From tha ground unda". To this day, when I pump it in my Honda, I let the windows down and bop my head so hard I damn near bash the steering wheel! These cats should have been platinum ten fold, then again.....I don't think Brand Nubian ever went GOLD!"
