"If you left the Leeds gig with a clean shirt (or even with a shirt at all) you weren't there. You can hear the glasses breaking and the crowd noise on the live tracks which were recorded at the Lads most notorious gig. This album represents most of the pre-1991 line-ups, the classic Muttley / Chorley (or Stez when he was out of jail for the week) / Beater trio along with Fast Fret, Uncle Nobby and assorted others. You'll find Lads classics from No Sheep Till Buxton (any album starting with the word "sheepshaggers" is fine by me) to Fluffy Pup with its air-punching and slightly rude refrain...... Great for a party, not recommended for your Auntie Madge. If you never listen to anything else in the history of forever you NEED to hear this set - sloppy love songs and boy/girl bands will just never be the same again. ..."
