"First of all, the latest No Limit releases are sounding a bit different. Cuz in 1998, all the No Limit albums that came out basiclly sounded the same. But Mercedes, Fiend, Magic & now Mac's new album have a slighty different feel, but are all good! If No Limit stayed the same, you'd get sick of it. Anyway, this album is hot! by far, my faorite song is "Still Callin Me" that is like a slow tempo, freaky, sexy song, that just puts you right in the mood. Second best song is "Paradise" which features POPEYE (who is the best new No Limit Soldier with LOTS of skills). Other favorites are "Lockdown", "We Deadly"- which has a creepy beat to it that is so tight. and "Cops & Robbers"-which has a beat that sort of sounds like the beat from "What ya'll want-by EVE". This Album is hot, i definately recommend it! (P.S. I bet alot of you don't this...MAC used to be on CASH MONEY RECORDS before he got on No Limit!) also SOULJA SLIM (who is locked up at the present time) is a No Limit Soldier, but he too used to be on Cash Money Records, and Soulja Slim's brother is B.G. (who is on Cash Money). just thought you'd like to know that. Go cop MAC-WORLD WAR III"

"If Mac wasnt in jail, there is no doubt he would be a real force in rap today. This whole cd is hard. Every song, his flow stays on topic and he jus rips it. Buy this cd before u can't find it."

"This is one of the brightest spot of No Limit. Master P has done a terrific job by recruiting Mac onto the tank. In this album, Mac again shows that he's a master when it comes to lyricism, deliveries, and originality. Any rap fan should have this album, seldomly has No Limit ever put out something like this before. The best cuts on here are; 1.WE DEADLY- Outstanding work done by P and Mac dissing Pastor Troy, this one song is a good enough reason to buy this album.2.BEST FRIENDS-Loved the beat,3.WAR PARTY-Energetic beat with very good verses by Mac and D.I.G4.BLOODY-Magic and Mac sayin'DON'T MESS WIT US!' A fast paced song5.PARADISE-WOW!! Samm and Popeye are tight as HELL! Makin me think why are they wit No Limit6.Battle Cry-Very good song, again Mac shows us his talent7.Cops and Robbers-The beat is fire, and a song dissin the cops8.Lockdown-Mac delineates about his life in the slammer9.That's Hip-Hop-Again, Mac wit them hot lyrics10.Assassin Nation-My favorite song on the albumThese are the 10 best songs on the album, the other will keep you busy too. Unlike Shell Shocked, this album leaned towards the east coast. Focused on lyrics more than beats. Mac's the reason why No Limit is better than Cash Money or any New Orleans rap... Get this..and yes it's better than Shell Shocked"

"Standout tracks: WAR PARTY, BEST FRIENDS, LIKE BEFORE, WE DEADLY, BLOODY, YOU NEVER KNOW, BATTLE CRY, IF ITS COOL, COPS AND ROBBERS, LOCKDOWN REMIX, THATS HIP HOP, CAN YOU LOVE ME, GENOCIDE, FATHERS DAY and ASSASIN NATION. Filler: Still callin me is a far reach from the original Callin me on Mac's first album. Bottom Line: Mac is one the best emcees to came out of the south and this album further solidifies that point. This album has songs with a message attached to them(Genocide, Fathers day, Can you love me etc) which is way more than you will get from the average no limit artist. Its unfortunate that he got locked up. Hold your head up Mac."

"This is a 5 mic album to me. Its great. Some people refer to Mac as The Souther 2pac and i would have to agree. Its unfortunate that mac was convicted of murder and wasnt able to release another album. Ill get to that later. This CD features two of my favorite songs of all time. Fathers Day and Eyes Of A killer. The production on this cd is great. Some people wont agree that this is the best MAC album but thats mainly because it doesnt feature the typical No Limit Records Prouction from Beats By The Pound because they left, the reason they stated was musical differnces. I this think album is amazing and i would reccomend you picking it up. Even for the price its going for. Thats saying alot, it is that good.
Mac was sent to Prison for Manslauggter. He got 30 years with a possibilty of parole in 2010. I believe he was innocent, not because hes one of my favorite rappers like some people do. The case they had against him was shotty. The person who did it Confessed but they went on to prosecute him anyway. They never found the murder weapon and had no physical evidence. Even in this day and age with the corrupt 'justice' system, the fact that he was convicted amazes me. I think it was because he is a rapper and No Limit Records was started with dope money. The New Orleans Police, The Dea and the Feds were trying to get Master P for the longest time. On Tru's Tru To The Game they speak on this.
Mac Is currently trying to get an appeal and its looking hopefull after the appeal that was granted to fellow No Limit Records Rapper C-Murder."
