"MC REN'S 1992 solo debut album "KIZZ MY BLACK AZZ" is a great contribution to the hip-hop history for a couple of different reasons (#1)its the villain's first solo album since the demise of "N.W.A" (#2)it captures the beautiful badd azz(RUTHLESS EAZY) sound of early westcoast style "G" rap. (#3)the villain spittz some of the best material i have eva heard from his gab box! & last but not least (#4) probably the most important factor of all! this album stands side by side with EAZY-E'S "5150 HOME 4 THA SICK" as being the first 2 albums that EAZY & ruthless began to create the ultimate recipe for a classic rap/hip-hop album by releasing albums with 5 to 8 (hardworked/very well DONE)masterful tracks on them to form a masterpiece instead of loading an album with 15 or 20 HALF AZZ tracks that you end up shutting off halfway through cause they just wern't worked on hard enough!!! EAZY NEW HOW TO GIVE US FANZ EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED!GREAT ALBUMS! so hurry up & get this very hard to come by gem,if your a true fan you could never be dissapointed! p.s. R.I.P. EAZY YOUR MEMORY LIVES 4 Eva"

"After the break up of N.W.A, MC Ren stayed signed to Ruthless records and released "Kizz My Black Azz EP" as promotion for his upcoming album "Life Sentence"(the title was later changed to "Shock of the Hour").
1. Intro: Check It Out Y'all
2. Behind the Scenes - Good beat, Ren flow is real gangsta, there isn't really a hook, just a guy talking - 4.5/5
3. Final Frontier - Nice beat, Rens spits lyrics so raw its crazy, hook is good....the best song he ever made...classic - 5/5
4. Right Up My Alley - first minute is a skit which is pointless in songs, Nice beat, Ren comes correct, interlude type hook - 4/5
5. Hounddogz - Good beat, Ren spits about girls not showing him attention back in the day but tryin to suck up to him now that he's famous, hook is good - 4.5/5
6. Kizz My Black Azz - HARD beat, Ren raps fast and hardcore, hook is good - 5/5
Overall: 23/25
5 Stars
Ren lives up to his name as the ruthless villain and rips up every track on here. It's just a shame how he never gets his respect for being in the N.W.A and still made good music after they broke up."

"This cd is tight it starts off wit scratchs by bobcat he scratchs rens voice from previous nwa songs.Behind tha Scenes is about ren rappin about this girl he knows from school he talks about him and his crew about gettin her wet and all dat stuff its just like just dont bite it.Final Frontier is about ren beatin people down for talkin about him and at concerts about slappin girls and lettin people know where hes from and writin those songs dat u love to hear.Right up my alley is about rens crew gettin in a fight wit this other crew and ren tryin to stop it which is funny cuz i alwayz thought ren would be tha one startin everythang when tha beat starts ren starts talkin about u cant come around his alley wit ur bulls''t or he'll put a bullet in ur hear and wynd up dead he'll send u home in a bodybag.Hounddoggz is about people sayin dat ren isnt gonna make it big and then people start sayin dat they where behind him all tha way.Kizz My Black Azz is about people dont go to rap concerts to see a band.So get this like tha other reviewer said get this before its too late."

"MC Ren drops his solo debut album (though it's really an EP at 5 songs, like Eazy E's "5150..." or "It's On..." albums), and much like those, this is also a great album. I forgot how good this was when I rebought it (it's been about 10 years since I've heard it), and boy was I glad I got another copy. As always, Ren has some vulgar and dirty lyrics from start to finish, a formula he kept true to over the years. Of the 5 songs, 1 is a classic, 1 is almost a classic, the other 3 are very good songs. There are no guests, just Ren. production is very good as well. Bobcat does 4 songs and Torcher Chamber does 1. A must have album from the golden age of Rap.
#2 - 9 (nice dirty song with some upbeat production)
