"This is Lynda's best album EVER! She finally wrote her own music and lyrics as well. I am mostly a ballad fan, so my favorite songs in this album are: Amar Asi, Para Ti (my very favorite!!) and which I found out recently to be written to that guy Lynda was with in 1999 or 2000 who ended up leaving Tijuana and this led to the end of their relationship...This reminds me of my very own love story, that's why I like it so much. Estoy De Pie is a very good song as well, filled with melancholy. POLLEN!! A great song which led her to kick off with HER GENERACION POLEN. Lynda is not only a women rights' activist, but also a member of GREENPEACE. I'm tired of hearing those comments that say she is trying to be like Shakira, Lynda has her own and rather unique voice and style; she has shown that she can sing Rap, Dance, Pop, Ballads, and soon she will perform the new Electro-Pop. LYNDA ROCKS!!"
Fantastic y maravilloso!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Hi, ok, i just wanted to first say thanks to John H. for writing his review because that helped me make the final decision of buying "Polen"> it is one of the best cds EVER!!!!!!!!!! Me encanta! Lynda es una super buena cantante con mucho talento. Todas sus canciones son muy poderosas y magnificas. I don't have a favorite song, they're all amazing!! I was wondering if anyone had the lyric to her songs. cuz like theyre not included and that made me angry becuase i dont see why they cant put them in. anyways the awesomeness of the cd makes up for the lack of lyrics. ..."

"I fell in love with Lynda after I first heard her sing the song "A Mil Por Hora" for a novela. I went out and bought her first album released here in the US "Mi Dia De La Independencia." It had a few good songs but I felt she hadn't found her true voice yet. Well...after hearing "Polen" I now know that she has!I LOVE this album! It is less pop than I expected and more rock. She has the perfect voice for screaming her feelings and yet she can soften it to sing a beautiful ballad. The tracklisting is as follows.1) Mala Leche - great and powerful song to start off with. I love the instruments on this song! 2) Estoy Viva - good example of her ability to change her voice from gentle to OVERPOWERING! The chorus rocks!!! I love the computer voice over towards the end. 3) Lo Mejor de Mi - My favorite song on the album!! Great anger and confidence!!! It was on this song that I realized she had found her voice. I love the line "Puedo ser muy tierna o puedo ser muy perra!" 4) Amar Asi - the first slow song on the album. It has great lyrics and meaning. 5) Perdedor - very catchy, fast paced song that flows great. 6) Ay, Ay, Ay - I love the instruments on this song also. Good example of her ability to sing to all different genres of music. 7) Para Ti - good medium paced song that is also very catchy.8) De Pie - the second slow song. Good use of voice potential on the chorus. 9) En El Anden - the beginning of this song was enough for me to like it. Great song also!10) Abrazame - excellent lyrics and you can feel her emotions on this song. 11) Polen (Todas Las Mujeres) - My second favorite song on this album! Great "rap" song. She sounds good when she sings fast. And the lyrics are very "grown up" I should say. Very catchy song that stuck in my head all day. She covers so many topics and stereotypes in this song that you can see her maturity. Overall this is a great departure from the typical spanish albums. Its great to hear her sing "rock" music. Great work Lynda!!!"
