Lyrical and straight

"A voice higher than suits the taste of many a western ear - but for those willing stay and listen - a voice straight from the heart. Her original "hits" as produced in this compilation album resound throughout with that genuine timbre that seems so hard to find these days. If you have ever spent a little time in some lonely hacienda somewhere down south on some chilly night surrounded by malancholy souls, then this album might just bring some tears to your overly affluent eyeballs. And not tears from the words in the songs (there are some lively tracks too), but from the realization that we may have lost that which made them."
