"This album contains the early demo recordings that got Lycia signed to Projekt Records, and they are definitely impressive. Although they have some of the unavoidable tape hiss of 4 track analogue recordings, the re-mastering is rather good, and the songs are more than worth it. This Lycia is a younger, more bass driven group. It does have a lot of the repetitive emotional guitar that makes the later albums hypnotic, but it is delivered in a more dance-oriented package. If you like the brooding music of Lycia, but ever wished you could dance to it, then this is the release for you!!"
