"I'm a long time Lush fan finding a new appreciation for the Lovelife album, this the second disc of b-sides is probably the most diverse. Track list: Ladykillers, Heavenly, Carmen and Plums and Oranges. Ladykillers is hard driving Lush at its best. Heavenly is a haunting song without lyrics. Its spookiness is only highlighted by the often-times odd whispers in the background. Carmen is a Lush song you think you've heard before, but it just wasn't quite good enough to make the a-side, typical. Plums and Oranges is a math synth meets melting guitars and drum machines, perhaps a direction the band was looking to go toward. It's one of the most unique songs I've ever heard, a combination you'll probably never find again. Gems like that make you think of what could have been for the band."
