Avarage rapping by Lunasicc over some great beats

""Mr. Lunasicc" is Lunasicc's first album. He was part of the mighty A.W.O.L. that inclueded The one and only C-Bo, Killa Tay, Laroo, Marvaless, 151 and other rappers from the Sac. However, this album isn't as good as you'd think. Now most of the beats are very good, hardcore Sacramento Gangsta sh** with a dark feel to it. Even the laid-back songs sound good. The problem is Lunasicc. I'm just not feeling him, it seems like nothing is special about him, and you gotta be at least a bit unique in something in order to succeed. Lunasicc's voice isn't distinctive, and his flow is kind of boring. Lyrically he's quite good, but his rapping can't draw attention to what he's actually saying... The whole A.W.O.L. crew is on the album, and that helps it a lot. They all outshine Lunasicc, but it's a good thing, because that way you don't mind he's not an impressive rapper. Bottom line is that if you're a fan of A.W.O.L's records' style, you'll like this album, like I did, mostly because of the beats and the great guest appearences all over the album (especially Killa Tay, Laroo and C-Bo)."
