"The song that made me want this album the most was SI TU QUISIERAS. It is a gorgeous song..."If you wanted" (literally)
Luis has a beautiful, classically trained voice, that makes me think of opera and also, of course, has a pop sound to it. You can tell he has a lot of soul and love for what he does--his music. Every song makes this more and more evident. COMENZARE, PERDONAME, TU CALOR....all of the tracks stick to the formula of love songs (herida--heartbreak, el amor de juventud--the love of youth, primer amor--first love, la tracionera--betrayal), but are never boring because Luis just sings his heart out.........For me, it was like he was in the same room with me, it was that moving. Please go out and buy this CD! You will not be disappointed."

"Luis Fonsi has a voice that is smooth yet rough at the same time. The timbre in his voice is a bit different which gives his voice an unusual flavor. I love these elements in Luis Fonsi's voice and it is something that makes his singing far above average. The difference between a good singer and a great singer is control and restraint when singing the low passages as well as the high Cs. Luis Fonsi is definitely in the latter categury.This album is one of the best Latin albums that I've heard so far. Luis Fonsi shows a lot of style, personality and emotion in all his songs. There are many albums (English as well as Spanish) that have maybe one or two good songs and the rest are bottom of the barrel bad. There are no shortages of this. "COMENZARE," however, is nowhere near this category. "Si Tu Quisieras" is an outstanding example of Luis' versatility. From the quiet introduction to the crescendo chorus you hear what a tremendous talent he is. I'm sure a lot of lovers have made this song "their" song and this album "their" album. After listening to track #1, I'm sure you will too!"
