Manny Hernandez | Bay Area, CA | 09/11/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Those who enjoy the music of Silvio Rodriguez will love Spanish "cantautor" Luis Eduardo Aute. In Autorretratos (Vols. 1 and 2) Aute presents us with the cream of the cream of his musical crop. There's simply not a bland song in here. "Belleza", "Cada Vez Que Me Amas" and "Dos o Tres Segundos de Ternura" are just some of the best ones. If you can understand Spanish you're bound to enjoy it twice as much, but even if you don't, you will still be floored with his beautiful music. If you enjoy this one and Silvio Rodriguez, then make sure you pick up "Mano a Mano" a live duet by the two where they sing in tandem each other's music. Too bad all this music is now mostly out of print or imported, resulting in ridiculous prices, but if you can get them at a decent price, make sure you pick up your copy."
