Lozen is made up of two girls, Hozoji and Justice, who sing scary/beautiful harmonies over heavy riffs and pounding drums. Their music is thought provoking, mysterious, rhythmically hypnotizing, and dynamically flowing. They have a variety of historical and musical influences that shape their unique sound--from Lozen herself, an Apache warrior woman, to blues, jazz, classic rock, hip-hop, and the underground music scene. These two beautiful women can usually be found in their tour van on the West Coast, occasionally as far east as Austin.
