CD ReviewsAnother Great Band from Scotland! R. Loveren | Hollywood, CA USA | 09/17/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "I was lead to this band in the '80's through being a Cocteau Twins fan. One of the members left and started Lowlife. This is some of the most beautiful music ever made! It's just sad that they are no longer together, leaving us with about 6 amazing albums in their wake. Diminuendo + Singles is one of the better ones. All of their recordings were once difficult to find on CD due to difficulties with different record labels until now. Lowlife's whole catalog of work has now been remastered and reissued album by album. I hate labels like "goth", or "death rock". This music was made for listening to in cold weather, after all, it was created in cold weather! It will move you and demand your attention as it wallows through a cold loch into despair! My absolute favorite Lowlife song is A Sullen Sky, which appears on Diminuendo + Singles. Check it out!"
