"If you can find this album these days, and you're actually looking for it, well its a good chance, you already know or have heard about "Bloweyelashwish" by Lovesliescrushing. This is an album you should rejoice over having, if you're lucky enough to own it. That said, I will attempt to describe this masterful beauty, but no words can really define its true definition and shape. On "Bloweyelashwish" the listener is introduced to a lovely and bittersweet amalgam of warm, passionate noise with delicate laces of ethereal melody. The shimmering distortion that was coined by My Bloody Valentine, is so morphed and smoothed on this album, its texture is born anew in the brilliant noisescapes and ambient recesses of this sonic-love dream. The Female vocals float almost ghost-like into the noise, brightening its edges. They add a honey drenched touch, the words so encased and mixed in with the swirling haze, the voice becomes an instrument in itself. When I first received this album, I could literally not stop listening to it, its beauty drew me in and held me tight. Look no further for the soundtrack of dreams and love."

"Absolutely incredible record. For years, I've been looking shoegaze more along the lines of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive and only found records by Curve, Catherine Wheel, ride, etc, which were decent but very different from the Loveless-type sound i was looking for. In 2004, i discovered this. And it's better than Loveless.
I thought long and hard before writing that. The 30 second samples don't do this justice. It has the doning guitar wash sound pattern of Loveless, but a sexy, goth-inspired (TASTEFUL goth) dream pop sound that follows no verse-chorus-verse structure like MBV, with completely spaced out sugary bursts of noise. That said, it's also surprisingly accessible (if you listened to Loveless, that is.) It's like Souvlaki, Loveless and In the Presence of Nothing all combined.
Get the Lily's in the presence of Nothing also if you're looking for this sort of sound."

"Wonderful, miraculous music compiled in an amazing 20 tracks. This album could best be described as a musical joyride through phantasmic dreamland. Lush, beautiful guitarwork altered to sound otherworldly with ethereal female vox from Isabel. The album begins with "babysbreath" and sets the standard for which all the other songs will follow. Between proper, full-length songs, which all range anywhere from 5 to 9 minutes, there are short, delightful intermission songs, which act as a sort of seclusion and break for short periods of time. The song "Plume" is quite surprising as it begins with short-tinkling chimes and blends into a musical artwork of god-like guitar and voices intermixed. "Burst", another mind-blowing musical experience, reminds me of flower petals mingling through an underground, subterranean tunnel. "Moinaexquisitewallflower" is a flawless track with lovely singing and background noise full of love and passion; this same feeling of heartfelt and wholesome emotions appears in "youreyesimmaculate" and "darkglassdolleyes". Just pure beauty and emotion in each and every song. This music is truly beautiful blessings mixed into song. I could never say enough good things about Lovesliescrushing. They are truly one band in a million."
