"Anybody knows that a music review is about what? Music, right? Well I think it would be appropriate to introduce the boys who make up Loudermilk. There's Issac Carpenter, who bangs away on the drums, Davey Ingersoll, who lends his awesome vocal ability, Shane Middleton, who keeps the crowd moving on the bass, and Mark Watroos, the long haired guitar player. They would seem like the average band, wouldn't they? But their music sets them apart, and far above, many bands out there. Most people have never even heard of Loudermilk, but that's about to change. With their recent release, The Red Record, the guys of Loudermilk are off, and going, to take the nation by storm, even if they don't mean to. The Red Record is full of hits that make you want to get up, dance, and/or just shout the lyrics at the top of your lungs. Their first release, "Estrogen Oxygen Aches In The Teeth Again", may have a weird title but the song itself is something different, something new, something that the masses of America need to hear. It's a perfect sample of the great music that Loudermilk has to offer. Likewise, "California", which has an awesome drum beat at the beginning, has a certain something that cannot be denied. Ingersoll's voice carries you all the way to the chorus, where there's an explosion of sound that just blows you away. If you're tired of mainstream rock that seems to get worse and worse with every "band" that comes out, check out Loudermilk. They're the breath of fresh air that you've been searching for."
No really, rock is back.

"Rock really is back, but it sure wasn't the Vines who brought it on their shoulders. From the very first explosion of guitar and drums in the first song, Estrogen Oxygen Aches in the Teeth Again to the last minute of Attached at the Mouth, Loudermilk delivers an insane adrenaline rush. This music is wild. This music is crazy...Lead singer Davey's voice just sends chills down your spine when you hear his evil screams and well-placed voice vibratos. Place that over a crunchy Les Paul guitar line, bass that punches you in the face and drum beats that flow like a river but spasm like the crazy kid that drummer Isaac is. Every member of this band is extremely talented, and it shows on every single song. While obviously drawing influences from older bands such as the Black Crowes and AC/DC, Loudermilk also pumps some modern sound effects through your veigns... If you're anyone who's ever appreciated good rock n' roll, this is for you."

"i picked this cd up in november of 2002 at the mall of america in minneapolis, and since then, rarely has anything i've listened to impressed me as much.
the first track, estrogen oxygen aches in the teeth again, frickin' kicked my ass. it just explodes from the speakers with such force that i couldn't help but love it. the rest of the cd varies from semi-pop, to a piano ballad entitled "97 ways to kill a superhero", to the hypnotic beat of one of the best songs i have ever heard, "the twisting". the last song on the cd is one of the most beautiful things i have ever heard. i don't see how these guys aren't super famous. they are one of the most talented bands around and totally deserve everything they get. but, the other thing i really like about them is the fact that they aren't [...]. i hate bands that just sell out for money. but this band truly puts all their feelings and effort into their music to create deep and heartfelt musical experience.
so if you want something fresh, pick this cd up. you can find it for pretty much nothing nowadays, but good luck finding their first cd, "man with gun kills three", i got that off the internet for more money than i would like to talk about. but it was worth it, as is this masterpiece. and if you are already a big fan and want more, they are no longer called Loudermilk. after a label scuffle, they changed their name to Gosling, and have released a self-title e.p., and it is glorious."

"whoa! okay, i bought this cd pretty much because i was bored one day and saw it at the store. i hadn't heard any of the music and was just hopeing to like a few of the songs. i put it on and fell in love. loudermilk is my new favorite band!! they sound like nothing i have heard in a long time! rock with punk with so much variety in the songs.
they start off with the powerful 'estrogen oxygen aches in the teeth again' and you heard the lead singers voice. hes amazing! he sounds so much different than anything popular out there today. then it moves into some more ballad type songs like 'anthema'.
this cd is one of the best i have heard in the past few years. i recommend it to anyone who likes rock/punk sort of stuff. competely amazing."

"This band rocks. Loudermilk is one of my favorite bands and the song California is awesome. I hope that with the name change (Gosling) they won't lose there fan bas and maybe will be able to get another record out. The band's music is nothing that I've heard before. They've got there own style and are definately a great buy."
