"i first heard a recording from this album, i remember bobby, while driving across the country one night. i could not wait until i could obtain a copy. lou's sweet sweet music flowing from his trumpet will warm your soul. gray sargent's dexterous guitar work adds a special flavor to this sound. the support from dave mckenna on the ivories, phil flanigan's solid bass line, and keith copeland drumming combine to make this one of the best jazz swing albums ever in my opinion. you will not go wrong adding this to your collection.
the only problem?
you will want more lou colombo and i have not seen or heard of any other one. our loss. but thanks lou for this one. thank you. thank you. you're beautiful baby."
