Since forming in Liverpool in 2007, The Lost Brothers have brewed up a steady string of well-crafted, melodic songs that hark back to a time when life was simpler. Having grown up around music since birth, they continue to take their knowledge of song craft from their native Ireland and mix that spirit of song with whatever records they happen to be listening to at the time, creating a sound that is totally their own.

Brendan Benson's own Readymade Records is proud to be releasing the Irish duo's 2011 Nashville sessions that have become The Passing of the Night. Recorded in just five days, this new album allows any listener to walk through a journey of songs filled with desperation, hope, and the celebration of life and death.
