"These songs are beautiful, tasteful and thoughtfully crafted. I normally don't like "pop" music, but this album is different. You won't find mindless drone or stupid lyrics repeated over and over and over. What you find instead is the soul of a sensitive, gifted songwriter. She is a master of melody. Impressive. Lori seems to be made of her music. It's a part of her. Where It Goes (my favorite album of Lori's) is also highly recommended."

"Lori Carson has always been a talented, adventerous artist, but none of her solo albums or her outstanding collaborations with the Golden Paliminos could have prepared listeners for the gorgeous, sensuous songs here. From the hauting and delicate "Souvenirs" to the languidly erotic "Somethings Got Me", this is pop songcraft of the highest order. I have recommended this disc to many friends and each one of them has thanked me for turning them on to this wonderful singer/songwriter."

"Her raspy voice puts me in a trance with her semi-acoustic jazzy folk alternative style. Lori Carson is a true artist with well-orchestrated songs that speaks not just to women but to unsuspecting guys. I loved every minute of this album, and the bonus disc with the remixes aren't bad either. Basically, this is just a really good album."
I FOUND IT!

"I saw the movie waking the dead not long ago and found it entrancing but even more so than the movie was the graceful song that played over the the emotional climax and end credits.
i sought out the artist, song title and album and finaly came to this purchase. the song, snow comes down, is for now the highlight of the album for me but its all so fantastic that may shift over time.
the last time a movie sent me on such a frantic and concerted search was in 1997 when good will hunting sent me after elliott smith. This instance has thus far proved just as rewarding."

"Lori carson's voice is fragile and small...but powerful and affecting. these songs deal with heartbreak and other personal experiences...mostly sad stuff. the music is low key piano, guitar, some electronic elements pop up once in awhile, but nothing too intrusive for the general "down" feel of the album. "Black Thumb", "Snow Come Down", and her cover of "I Saw The Light" are particularly good. music for late nights/early morings."
