"I only recently got into Looptroop and I have to say that they are one of the most tuned and creative hip-hop goups in the world. Being from Sweden, they didn't grow up in this ridiculous idea that America has of rap. There's much more to it than sex. drugs and money. There's politics and people in this world, not a bunch of robots. Looptroop picks their issues and attack them with some of the most fine tuned production I've ever seen from any band/group. Outstanding and a breath of fresh air in this screwed up musical society the US has."
DOPE DOPE DOPE Production and lyricism!

"I was a DJ at a college radio station back in the late 90s. (what a glorious time to be alove....) - my format was non-mainstream hip hop. I first heard "Four Elements" by LOOPTROOP on a compilation called Revenge of the B-Boy... It's ultra-fresh. The production was so clean and poppin, but with a soulful feel- the lyrics were mad tight, and the delivery worked. I quickly snapped up their import-only full length "Modern Day Symph." and fell in love with it. I used to say on the air on my show that these guys are from SWEDEN and they rap tighter than a LOT of American MCs and the beats are still some of the freshest I've ever heard even to this day. I even hooked up with Promoe (MC) over email and got the group to do some station ID drops... They worked it out, put it on Minidisc and it was in my mailbox in about two weeks. Commitment.
Do yourselves a favor, check out some of these tracks and see how live LOOPTROOP really is !!! Don't just settle for the mainstream junk being forced upon you through terrestrial commercial radio! Its MIND CONTROL!!!!"
