Album DescriptionLegenday punk album from members of Sex Pistols and New York Dolls. In 1977 Barry Jones was partner, booker and artist for The Roxy Club. His mate Steve Dior was the teenage NY Dolls fan who got to meet his heroes. When Jerry Nolan left the Heartbreakers unhappy with the 'L.A.M.F.' mixes, he immediately formed The Idols with Steve & Barry, then joined by Arthur Kane, ending up in New York as Sid Vicious's backing band. They evolved into the London Cowboys with Glen Matlock and Tony James. Over time the line-up had many changes and encompassed numerous punk luminaries, and they had considerable success in France, on Skydog/Underdog Records. An essential history lesson for all students of the punk-rock scene.
