"I bought this album a number of years ago and was enamored of its slow & melodic pace, the crispness of the piano, and the way it seemed to curl up inside my brain. I could never help but feel relaxed while listening. Peppered with older standards and some not-so-recognizeable material, it is a wispy dream taken musical form. And the best part - my 4-month old daughter falls to sleep within 5 minutes of my putting it on, no matter how cranky she is. Highly recommended for anyone with a fussy baby."

"I'd likely give this CD a 4* rating but feel the need to 'counteract' the absolutely ridiculous 1* rating of one of the reviewers, who couldn't believe his eyes (doubt that he has any EARS!) - this is an enjoyable mellow piano album of standards - not really jazz playing, but the kind of mood one might desire in a lounge late @ night w/ someone special (after a great dinner), and sipping on a nice drink, like champagne - if that is the mood you like, then this disc is quite enjoyable!"
