Simply tasteful and satisfying

"Rich delGrosso is a consummate blues mandolinist, as his "Get Your Nose Out of My Business" CD amply shows. His tasteful slow blues with Pinetop Perkins, and his hopping other tracks show his technical skills and melodic sense, (as well as his guitar and blues chops in general). On the current CD, he provides terrific rhythm chops and complimentary licks on Smokestack Lightnin'. He does himself and the group proud with his simple and delicious licks on Shotgun BLues and Early in the Morning, and others. I love Early in the Morning, and Mookie Brill's interpretation, with Fiona Boyes' steady guitar work and Rich's teasing mando licks, just drive this great tune deep into the marrow. Great collaboration. I like this CD a lot. I want more."
