"Who is the real King of Rock and Roll? Elvis Presley or Little Richard? While historians and fans debate that issue, new Elvis
material (i.e. previously unreleased tracks from the '50s to the '70s) comes out constantly. For Little Richard? Reissues of 1964-5 and 1976 tracks. This release, despite slightly better than usual sound, does nothing to advance the Penniman cause.
The only unusual cuts are "I'm Trampin'", actually a medley of "I'm Trampin'" and "Amazing Grace", recorded in 1959 at his first gospel session; "Why Don't You Love Me?", the Hank Williams tune, which showed up for the first time on a 1972 album - probably cut c. '71 or '72; and "Funky Dish Rag" from the same album, a funky but decidedly underdevelopped instrumental. While CDs like this abound, dozens and dozens of never-on-CD and unreleased Little Richard songs gather dust."
