The Sun Shines on Little Egypt

"Visual Poetics, Tajjwar, Forge, Bravestar, Diop & KHORDZ 255 form a direct mix of culture, musicianship and straight up rhyme skills with this first effort. The talents of Visual and Tajjwar, almost makes it look easy to combine music and rhyme, making "Sunrise" the perfect debut single for this type of Hip-Hop act. They bring back a style that is remeniscent of A Tribe Called Quest's first record musically, while also reporting on street life as they know it a la KRS-1. This Brooklyn crew is definately one to watch for in the coming years. The bonus track "Just fo the Record pt.2" revisits the most important fact in rap music today; either you have skills on the mic or you don't. Just by the entrance of Diop's verse alone proves that this act has definately got got it. I'm looking foward to hearing more from these self-proclaimed B.K. Assassins."
