"What can I say about Little Birdy? One of the best bands in the world, if not the best?
With Katy Steele's beautiful voice, you can't help but let these songs roll over you and leave you completely changed. Upbeat, poppy electronica one minute, and angry, melancholy rhythms the next. No song sounds exactly the same.
It might take you a while to get used to the new direction Katy and her crew are going in, it's quite different to 'Big, Big Love' although at every turn, you can be sure it's Little Birdy. But after you really listen to the album with an open heart and mind, you'll agree that this is their best product yet, a great addition to your cd collection. Try it out! The music's not for everyone, but then, what album ever is? The least you could do is give them a go. Little Birdy are a real diamond in the rough of the music industry. Underappreciated talent. I dare say if you're into Gwen Stefani's albums, you might like this record... at least the happy style of music is similar. Little Birdy's lyrics are of course deeper and sung with more feeling. But you get the idea.
There are so many good tracks, but these ones stand out the most: 'Come On, Come on', 'After Dark', 'Music', Set You Alight', 'Don't Feeding On The Night' and 'On And On'.
The dvd is very cool too. You get to see the making of Hollywood and the video clip for 'Come On, Come On' (which is a cute cartoon lover's visual paradise! And so much colour!)
Thankyou Little Birdy for producing an album which is the closest I've ever come to finding the 'perfect cd'."
