"How could I ever forget? How could I, her number one admirer, make such a mistake? Wow, do I have a moment to share. After a very long search on the internet, I found Lissette's web page. I was so thrilled. As I typed a message for her, I trembled. Due to my uncontrolable exitement and trying to make sure that I expressed my true feelings as well as pleasure to have listened to her new release, I wrote the wrong title, AMOR DE LUNA, of the cd. How embarrassing, for the world and most of all her to read. I am suppose to be one of her many true admirers. What can I say except that the name of this cd is AMOR DE LUNA and it is her BEST new release. But, I also need to share a quick story about how I first got this cd.A couple of years back, I saw Lissette on a talk show with her family. She and her husband talked about their new releases. Well, I needed to buy them, NOW. They were no place in sight in my neck of the woods, so, I took the day off from work and went on a little well deserved escapade. I traveled about 200 miles to "Little Havana" in Miamai, Florida, a place I had never been to before. I got off my car, walked around the area, checked the sites, ate some delicious Cuban food, and found a little record store where I bought Lissette's AMOR DE LUNA and her husband, Willie Chirino's CUBA LIBRE.Happy at last, I drove back home (200 miles or so) as I listened to this wonderful cd. What great company! What great therapy! It made me feel joyful, to say the least. Lissette's music is and has always been with me in the good and the bad. This was not the best time for me and I needed her music to fill me up, as it always has and does.It brought me such pleasure to hear her sultry warm and endearing friendly voice once again with new fresh lyrics and melodies. She has such wonderful taste. She is my LADY OF SONG.ENCANDILADA is so inviting, AMOR DE LUNA is romantic, CUANDO ME FALTES......what can I say (she never will), LA ETERNA DANZA is musically magical, and PARA SIEMPRE brings tears to my eyes. Such a beautiful song and such a touching rendition with her daughters makes me feel proud. SOS HASSIM is cute, BELLO IDIOTA is powerful (it kind of makes me chuckle), QUIERO HACER CONTIGO EL AMOR is sensual, and CAMPO DE BATALLA is honest and direct. But my favorite is REGRESARE. It brings me tears of happiness every time I listen to it. Lissette's music has always been my faithful companion in the good and the bad of my life's journey. She brings me much joy and light as she picks me up. To think that I know she will always return and never disappoint me always brings me a smile. Because throughout the years, she always has. I can hardly wait for her next release from her successful concert at the Teatro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico. A concert that I sadly missed but read as well as heard great wonderful things about. I know that the cd will be another triumphant return for my "Lady of Song, Lissette". She will return with REGRESARE.I am so anxious just waiting for this new release, her next music venture. Meanwhile, I'll continue to relax with AMOR DE LUNA.Abe :-)"

"I have just obtained a copy of 'Amor de Luna' on the recommendation of a friend and have found it to be simply wonderful. The artist's voice is full, flexible, filled with soul, playful, and in perfect pitch. While all the songs are good, cut 3 on the album (Cuando me Faltas) is one of the most beautiful balads I've ever heard, and I can't even speak or understand Spanish! This song should be broadcast widely, and I'm certain the public response would be excellent. Lissette is apparently thought of primarily as a 'Latino' artist, but her talent crosses most musical styles. She is very, very good, and this album is outstanding."
