Great album by The King of the Vibraphone

"I have had this cd for a few months a I never get tired of listening to it. I never ever heard of Lionel Hampton until a friend of mine told me who he was. I'm so glad he told because I've been listening to him ever since. Anyway the reason I like this album so much is because of the great songs he has on this cd I love the song Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing a song he did with Tito Puente and if you have read any of my previous reviews you know why I said that. The other great track on this album is Gossamer Wings with Chaka Khan on vocals. The reason I like this cd is because it has all the elments of a great jazz album. Not to mention the vibe solos that Hampton does keep this album moving so if you like jazz please check this cd out you won't be disaponited."

"Veteran Jazz musician Lionel Hampton strikes gold with this CD release.The instrumental tracks are really nice but it's the vocal tracks that really stand out.Chaka Khan's vocals on "Gossmer Wing" are simply exceptional. This one is a true classic. It gives me goose bumps whenever I hear it. Dianne Reeves appears on a snappy remake of "Take The A Train". The CD wraps up with a moving vocal performance from Lionel on a nice remake of "What A Wonderful World".If you like great Jazz music, add this one to your CD collection."
