Has a few good songs, but it isn't his fault.

"I want to say this is a fabulous cd, really I do. But I just can't. There are a few songs on here that shows what he was capable of."Leap of Faith" was a monster hit, and "What Kind of Fool" was a song that should have did better than it did. He had the right idea when he forgot the he was the only songrwiter in the world and remade Ricky Skaggs' "Waiting For The Sun to Shine" complete with Ricky himself on harmony. The rest of the songs are highly forgetable; very profesional and classy, but forgetable. In all Cartwright had the potential to be a star, but either he didn't want it bad enough or someone at MCA didn't want it to happen.I would still buy this cd if I had to do it over again, even for full price, which you don't have to pay anymore."

"This is an outstanding CD!! Not one filler song in the bunch. Best is 30 Nothin'! "Family Tree", "Susannah", and "Waitin' For the Sun to Shine" are highlights also!
Lionel Cartwright got lost in the "Garthmania" shuffle which is too bad because he had the talent and looks to achieve great success!! This CD is his best work!!"
