Some of the best Wray ever

"Brilliant, mind-blowing visionary stuff co-exists with fascinating misfires on this Norton Records comp covering the rockabilly-related sides of the great Link Wray. A plain ol' country gent deep down, Link loved Elvis and witnessed first-hand the uproar when "cow" music met "cat music." This disc is full of exciting examples of backwoods experimentation as Link and his raunchy ranch hands attempt hillbilly boogie, punkish white doo-wop, and Presley-inspired rock. Meanwhile the Link Wray guitar style of power chords and low-down twang begins to emerge."
