CD ReviewsLil Wyte, new hot artist Ben Britton | Frederick, MD | 09/02/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Earlier this year, i really began to not like rap, like at all. I was mostly getting into rock like Staind,Chevelle and some others. Well one day at work this guy brought this cd called LIL WYTE, and he convinced me it was good so i listened to it, and WOW!! This is the only rap cd i've bought in soo long and can't wait for him to come out with somethin new. His beats are all tight cuz of three 6 mafia and his lyrics are just DAMN good. This has probably been the best cd i've bought in a long time and I recommend it to everyone, even if you dont like rap!" Lil Wyte Is Tight Ben Britton | 07/06/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I hadn't heared from three-6-mafia in a minute so i thought they'd fell off. But then ride spinners comes out! Next thing i know someone tells me bout lil wyte and i'm like who who the hell is that. So i go to the mall and listen to the cd no later than 2 mins later i had it in my cd player. That boy got some tight lyrics and they hooked him up with the beats. Ne 1 who like three-6-mafia or that south music should pick this up i think this is one of the albums of the year. I hope he can keep it up with another hot album after this 1. Da Unbreakables album by 3-6 is hot 2 so go pick em both up u wont be dissappointed, trust me. Wyte is one of the tightest rappers i've ever heard, no joke!!!!!!!!" "BEST SOLO TRIPLE SIX RAPPER SINCE KINGPIN SKINNY PIMP" Rocks In My Socks | Cleveland | 04/06/2005 (4 out of 5 stars) "This was undoubtedly the best album of 2003, and showcases the next big talent in the rap game. Lil Wyte is a pretty good lyricist and his flow is original. His debut blows all of Feminem's material out of the water. From the first track "Doubt Me Now," I was amazed at Wyte's beats and flow, which sound nothing like typical Paul & J productions. Other standout cuts include "Oxycontin," "My Smokin Song," and "Acid." Overall, Doubt Me Now is a very good album, and is a solid debut for this up & coming rapper."
