The will of believing in something unique gave birth to the DIY project named Lightning Daze. With the same line-up since their high school years (2001), they ve self-released three EPs, toured with great bands such as Portugal the Man, Vanilla Sky, Dufresne, A Traitor Like Judas and others. Four members going in different directions, contrasting their creative egos and reaching a point of contact in their own sound. Singer Dami, after founding booking agency NoReason Booking in conjunction with indie label NoReason Records, has involved the other members in his project. Lightning Daze is now active in the european alternative scene and beyond and have worked with great bands such as Rentokill, Antillectual, Enemy Alliance, Useless ID. Lightning Daze s new album Caught In a Frame, co-released between Engineer Records (USA/UK), Strictly Commercial Records (Ger) and Panic Records (Italy), represents 7 passionate songs--full of heartfelt sing-a-longs and bursting full of energy just as their peers have taught them. Caught In a Frame turns the deepest of heart-strings, mixing up the finest blend of mid-90 s emo with killer arrangements and a smooth, flavourful melody that positions Lightning Daze within a modern bend of retro sounding indie bands tired of mall-rock clones, angled haircuts, and power chord clones. With touring extensively under their belt and no sign of letting up in the near future, Lightning Daze is sure to blaze a trail of their own.
