Yes, it doesn't have the sharpness of new recordings, but Libertad Lamarque's voice is clear and melodious, the feelings and the passion come through and the nostalgic and sentimental music touches within."

"This fabulous actress and singer is an Argentine treasure. She sings with such passion and sincerity, and her sparkling voice (even though these recordings are from many years ago) sounds crystal clear and full of life.Her rendition of "Nostalgias" is wonderful, as is "La Cumparsita", and the spoken section of "Inspiración" will give you a glimpse of what a luminous presence she was on film. Though I confess, I don't normally appreciate the female voice, Libertad Lamarque holds a special place in my heart and in my CD collection."
