"I am thrilled to hear Liane Foly's new CD. She is one of my favorite singers, on disc and in person. I was disappointed in CHAMELEON, her 1997 release. It had some OK moments, but it did not match the stellar, earlier LES PETITES NOTES or REVE ORANGE. With ENTRE NOUS, Liane Foly recaptures the power, purity, heart, drama, and soul of her earlier works. On first listen, many of these songs will catch your heart. You don't need to parles francais to understand the feelings she is conveying here. Subsequent listenings will pull you into every selection. The album holds together well as a whole. The songs are by a variety of composers, with Liane herself responsible for many of the words and a fair amount of the music. Her collaboration with Philippe Viennet and Andre Manoukian, responsible for all of the songs on Reve Orange and Les Petites Notes, seems to have ended after Les Petites Notes. If anyone knows why, I'd be interested to hear!Purchase this CD and you will enjoy one of the top voices currently popular in France, and in my opinion, one of the top voices ever."
