"I won't do you a disservice by writing pages and pages of my take on the album. The greatest favor I can do is to speed up the process of you getting in into your 'cart' or whatever it is.
I ordered this internationally because I had *huge* expecations for Taylor's third album... and I am not a DROP disappointed. Catchy, beautiful, fun, brilliant -- it falls right in line with his last two albums (which you should already have). He deserves every comparison he gets to the soul greats, although he clearly carves out his own niche. Enjoy.Warning: Listening to this album will cause you to become greatly perplexed as to why he doesn't tour the US. Consider yourself forewarned."

"Reviewing this album is difficult , because I feel that some of Lewis's fans would like to keep him to themselves . I prefer not to as I've enjoyed listening to this record so much .
I'll have to do a review of a well-known album and just mention Lewis's name - that may be one of the few ways to make people aware of this inspiring musician and stylist .
This music is groovy and emotional - go for a drive on a sunny day with this album playing loud . There is a lot going on in the music , but it is mixed with great care and all comes through wonderfully .
Neglected only as it's not as well promoted .
Give it a try and have your horizons expanded !!"

"Will not bore you with a track-by-track listing: too boring and sub- Lester Bangs. This is genuinely exceptional.I saw Prince when he was 19 at the Lyceum in London: this is the only comparable talent I've heard in the subsequent 20-odd years. He really is that good.(PS Saw Prince in Sydney in '03: he's still got it!)."
