Since the late 1960's, a pimple that the record companies could never pop were unauthorized releases of live concerts and unreleased studio songs/snippits and uncensored fly-on-the wall-tapes, that became to be known as...Bootlegs.



Heard of: "The Great White Wonder" or "Liver Than You'll Ever Be?"

If so, then: The Leslie West Band ~ "New York State Of Mind" is just what you have been looking for. This is live Leslie West & band at the Lone Star Club, {location unknown} in 1994. There are 9 tracks and 75 minutes of the show included here. The sound quality? Well, if you are not a fan of low-grade audio recordings {This could be from the soundboard, as audience tapes will pick up audience noise ~ this one is miles from the crowd.} than steer clear of this. If performance is of more importance to you than sweet 64 Track Digital Mixes, then welcome to this wicked & sinful world.



Classics from Mountian; "Mississippi Queen", "Nantucket Sleighride","Blood Of The Sun", "Theme For An Imaginary Western" are here along side, solo Leslie tracks: "Whiskey Train" and "3rd Degree". Also included is Leslie's take on: "Voodoo Chile" and Billy Joel's: "New York State Of Mind". The performance is raw and uncensored as Leslie rants like a sailor on shore leave between numbers and gives it to a heckler or two.



This Official Bootleg is just that, a medium quality bootleg CD from Leslie & company. This CD will give you a little taste from this other world, the world of bootleg recordings. Better audio of almost everything here is available on other discs, but that is not the point, this is what collectors have been searching for decades now...unreleased and live music that is not available anywhere else...BOOTLEGS !!!
