"This must be the most underrated album ever made -- by ANYONE -- let alone Leon. Vocals, great! guitars, great! drums/percussion great! lyrics, right there!!..............all enveloped in a rich dark chocolate bass that oozes thru the album complete. What more can I say? obviously I'm a big leon fan and have been for years, but when I first heard this offering it just blew me away, a lot of leon fans arent that keen on this album, a fact that has always bewildered me!?.......This is not just my favorite leon album of all time, but, my no.1 - top of the list, album by anyone/everyone of ALL TIME.

"I love this album too. Although I have several Leon albums and cds and like almost all the songs on all of them (I am a huge fan also, darkspark) there is something about this album that grabbed me and won't let go. "Struck By Lightning" will just come into my head from nowhere even though I may not have listened to it for months. "On The First Day" breaks my heart every time I hear it. All of these songs are unique and wonderful and I think Leon fans are missing a good thing if they miss this one."
