Synopsis
Amazon.comLeon Redbone pursues his career as if nothing important had happened in American music since 1950. This anachronistic approach gives not just his loyal audience but his professional peers as well a chance to visit a bygone era. Redbone's 12th album, Whistling in the Wind, features contributions from such pop figures as Merle Haggard, Ringo Starr, and Roger McGuinn and such jazz figures as Joe Venuti, Ken Peplowski, and Lenny Pickett. --Geoffrey Himes

CD Reviews
Another Redbone Classic Richard H. Hawkinson | Everett, WA USA | 11/23/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "I gave this album 5 stars. But that is relative to Leon Redbone's music. If you like Redbone, I'm sure you will like this. The sonic quality of my CD is fine. I noticed that one reviewer was a bit unsatisfied. Hard to explain what might be behind that with a digital recording. However, at 53, it could be that I just don't hear things anymore!"
