Leny Andrade is vocal Bossa Nova in itself.



She began her career in the final 50s and engaged all important Bossa Nova groups from then on.



Always backed by the best musicians because she herself is a brilliant musician. BTW, Musicians are a critical item when appreciating this album. There are sensational incredible arrangements by Mr. Eumir Deodato.



The repertoire is a bunch of Bossa Nova standards - maybe not those worldly known but certainly those typical 'musicians' choice'. A greater swinger, you know?!



The title song was a big instrumental hit as composed by famous Durval Ferreira. Ms. Andrade's rendition was the original one with lyrics by Regina Werneck. She also "plays" a sensational scat singing which became historical and famous.
