CD Reviews

Probably the best reggae album I have ever listened to.
JJLizard | Shawnee, OK USA | 04/07/1999

"As a longtime listener of space music and experimental/industrial, it is not often that I find reggae music that approaches the creativity of these genres. Much of the music produced by Adrian Sherwood can indeed be considered a reggae form of industrial/experimental, and this album is no exception. Combine the experimental influences with hard charging dance rhythms and Lee Scratch Perry's inane singing, and you have an album that is not only great listening but also very interesting, in much the same way that Dark Side of the Moon is interesting. Check out "Jungle.""
Fantastic album; a must buy

"This and From the Secret Laboratory are different in style, but both are consommate examples of what both Perry and Dub Syndicate are capable of. If you have any interest in dub music of the post-roots-reggae variety, this is an album to own. Perry rants in his inimitable style, and the grooves are deep, hypnotic, trippy ... etc. -- all the usual adjectives apply. I can't recommend this highly enough."
As crazy as it gets

"Lee Perry at his weirdest. A must have album for any dub reggae fan. I first heard this album on a mix tape a guy in college had. I have always forced people to listen to it ever since - whether they like it or not."
