Album Description
Is it a percussive piano or a pianistic drumset? No, it's the newest release from this exciting drum-piano duo! Pianist/composer Wolfert Brederode is the artistic leader of the Wolfert Brederode Trio, the Wolfert Brederode Quintet, and Nimbus. He is also founder of the Nimbus Collective, a group that combines music, dance, and moving images. For many years, he has also played with Swiss singer Susanne Abbuehl. Joost Lijbaart has performed with Michiel Borstlap, Lydia van Dam, Michel Godard, and Tony Overwater, although most of his work has been with Yuri Honing, with whom he formed the Yuri Honing Trio and jazz/rock band White House.
