"Another wonderful offering from Le Tigre! They continue to put out their unique "low-fi" tunes with punk edges. The process of making this work was painstaking. Check out mrlady.com for FAQ's. Using a "clueless male" voice in the songs was a nice touch reminiscent of the song "White Boy" of early Bikini Kill. Strong "thinking" lyrics and the totally fresh sound of Le Tigre's music makes this MUST have!"
Le tigre: this drum machine died and went to heaven

"Le Tigre is my very favorite band right now, thanks to this new record and seeing them live in NYC recently. If there is an unsung masterpiece out there right now, this is it. I was so excited when I saw this at the acursed virgin megastore when it was released that I bought it then and there, without a single complaint about commercializing record buying experiences or whatever. My roommate and I rocked out to this album all the way through finals. This album restores my faith in music made after 1998. With all of the lewd, reprehensible, sound-alike shock rap on the charts, it's great to hear something so fresh and relevant and proactive. Le Tigre is my favorite Kathleen Hanna project yet. Just buy it already, k?"
As good or better!

"The new ep from le Tigre, From the Desk of Mr. Lady, is as good or better then their first self titled release. The first song, (ironically enough as you're reading this)"Get off the interne"t is a bouncy scream fest; "Get off the internet!, I'll meet you in the street."The whole thing is a rockin', danceable, battle cry."
Okay, i guess.

"the new le tigre is kind of a milquetoast type of affair. all the songs kind of have the same feel to it, a scrambled more laid back jumbled sound than the last album. less diverse. none of the songs are anywhere as startling or powerful as the debut album. there is a remix "the the empty" where they bring some of the vocals to the front, but the remix doesn't really go anywhere. for once kathleen hannah has created something that didn't blow me away."
I'm a man and I still worship Le Tigre

"Le Tigre is making some of the most exciting music around...when i listen to them, i get the same feeling i got when i first heard Devo and Patti Smith and Wire and Gang Of Four and X-Ray Spex and all those great "art-punk" bands back in 1977 and '78.....passionate, funny, intellectual, rocking, brave, and answering to NOBODY!"
