"I listened to the sound clips, many times, then purchased the CD. I am very happy that I decided to purchase this item! I have completely lost count of how many times I have played "Songs for Elegua."I am not a trained Vodou / Voodoo practitioner, but I have been working with it on my own, via book knowledge and personal experience, for a year or so. I began, studying the subject from an Anthropological perspective, and "Songs for Elegua" seems to correspond with the research I have done, so-far. Regardless, it works.When I played the CD, the atmosphere changed, and I really enjoyed the rhythem, chanting and drum beats of the music.Personally, I just enjoy the music, aside from the context, as well--the music is soothing, yet powerful."
