"Fabulous album with guitar licks that are the best in the biz. Laurie Morvan puts her heart and soul into this album and it shows. The first track grabs you and the rest keep you glued. The harmonies are just right and add great flavor all around. All original songs that had me singing along the second time I listened to them. I highly recommend this CD and plan on orderig her other earlier cd's. This band is a true find and will definitely be making a name for itself nationally."

"This CD by The Laurie Morvan Band is very good and, from my point of view, much better than their previous effort. Congratulations!!!! Buy it, hear it, you will not be dissapointed. This is just plain good blues and blues-rock."

"Laurie plays a mean guitar and while the songs are geat they aren't exactly blues category tunes either but they are close and pushing the envelope to expand music is part of development. On the other hand pushing it to far and its no longer blues at all. I also don't care for the rather explicit lyrics of "Barbecue". But, for a singer, songwriter and guitar player, I'll still say she's 4 stars and will buy another of her CD's."
